What we do

One question that listeners sometines ask about The PM Podcast™ is: "Do you make any money?". The answer is "Yes, we do.". There are a number of ways in which we earn money:

We offer a Premium subscription of The PM Podcast where we charge a monthly or yearly subscription fee
We used to sell advertising in the form of banner ads. You may still see some of the old banners across the website but they are no longer generating revenue.
We used to sell advertising in the form of in-show sponsorships (i.e. "Today's episode is sponsored by...). Those are still within the recordings but are no longer generating revenue.
We promote our own products using banner ads as well as in-show sponsorships
We joined the affiliate programs for many of the PM tools that are listed. These programs are no longer active and we're not earning any revenue.
We joined the Amazon affiliate program and the links to books used to include our Amazon affiliate information.

What this means

This means that if you click on a link to visit the official website of a listed book, product or service, and then continue to buy it we may receive a commission.

However...

In May of 2019 we decided to stop promoting products using affiliate links.

This means that if you click on a link to a book, product or service that was posted after May of 2019 then we do not receive a commission. We are also going back through the links posted before and changing them to non-earning links. But this will take a while...

Furthermore, as of 2024, only the Amazon affiliate program is still active. All the other programs we joined no longer exist and aren't generating any revenue for us. And whenever we come across an old Amazon affiliate link we replace it with a non-affiliate link.
